WURZELKELLER (root cellar)

With its 20 columns and seemingly countless round arches, the Wurzelkeller (root cellar) is the most extraordinary of all the vaults on the Praterinsel (Prater island).

The unique atmosphere is created, among other things, by the multi-layered nature of the room, which can be perfectly staged by professional lighting. The ground-level access along the beautiful Praterstrand (Prater beach), via the Isarhof (Isar court) creates ideal conditions for smooth logistics.
